LockBox was designed as a hardware security system. However, expecting the system to go into hardware immediately is infeasible. We need a way to implement the system in software, for both simulation and backwards compatibility. This talk discusses the implementation challenges and issues in ensuring LockBox will be able to be adapted to a software based implementation.
