Abstract

StorageTank is a SAN-based distributed file system with integrated policy-based management that was developed at IBM Research. This talk will cover the architecture and the unique capabilities of the file system, as well as some results and performance numbers from sample user institutions.

This talk is a practice for David Pease's PhD dissertation defense.
