Amnon Barak is Strauss Chair Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests include operating systems for clusters, multi-clusters and GPU clusters; On-line and gossip algorithms for dynamic resource management; Parallel and distributed High-Performance GPU Computing. During the academic year 2010–2011 Prof. Barak spent a sabbatical year here working with researchers at the SSRC.
