NVM Systems Architecture meeting (Feb 2016)

On February 5, 2016, we held a workshop to discuss new research directions in designing systems around byte-addressable persistent memory. The workshop focused on rearchitecting the systems stack, from hardware to system software to distributed systems, to better leverage persistent memory. This project has the potential for transformational improvements in performance and usability by reducing the distance between memory and storage, and by combining the two into a single concept: state.
