Abstract

This talk will present current research taking place in the field of automated Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX). We are developing a batch forensic processing system that will be able to ingest a hard drive or flash storage device and produce a high-level executive summary that will explain What makes this data different? and What about this drive is similar to other drives in our collection? The goal of this project is to develop tools which can automatically detect which hard drives in a collection were previously used by members of terrorist networks, and which drives belong to the background.
