SSRC Hosts File and Storage Benchmarking Workshop

The Storage Systems Research Center hosted a workshop on best practices in file and storage system benchmarking. The goal of this workshop was to bring together experts from academia and industry to develop best practices and improve the quality of science that is done in measuring the performance of storage systems.

We expect that the workshop will produce a short article for the USENIX ;login: magazine, and a longer paper that can be used as a reference for file system and storage performance analysts in both industry and academia.

An agenda from the meeting is online, and will have PDFs of presentations shortly. Writeups of information will also be attached to the wiki page.
