Ismail Ari
Ismail Ari is an Assistant Professor at Ozyegin University in Turkey and co-founder of Havooz. He spent 5 years as a senior research scientist at Hewlett Packard Laboratories in Palo Alto. He received his Ph.D. from University of California Santa Cruz in 2004 working with Prof. Ethan Miller. He earned his M.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland Baltimore County. His research interests include big data and cloud computing, performance improvement and automation of networked storage systems, web services and service-oriented architectures, data mining, and event stream processing.
