Stephanie Jones completed her Ph.D. working with Prof. Darrell Long. Her research was determining if the write temperature of a log is an interesting new metric with a potential focus on shingled write disks. She is currently working for Intel Corporation. Her previous research was in the realm of data deduplication, which culminated in her M.S. thesis titled: "Online Deduplication in a Log-Structured File System for Primary Storage". Previous areas of research include computer security, indexing, and semantic file systems.
